Since no one in my immediate area is going to know what sort of details are on these costumes, I'm letting a lot of those details go for now. I've halted painting the paisley because, well, Chris pitched a fit last night when I got home and wanted to run to Hancock's and Hobby Lobby to pick up some things. His motives were soon revealed when he wanted me to heat up dinner (thank you leftover lasagna!) and wash the dishes. He's got a Biology test tomorrow that's he's been putting off studying. *sigh* This always happens, he puts something off for school, then when he freaks out closer to time and tries to cram, I suddenly have to bear the burden. S'ok, he'll be done in December. Then he gets to feel my school wrath as I work on distance classes from GIA next year. Muwahahahahaha! But I digress. . .

So like I said, I'm not bothering with the painting, yet.
Not bothering with the etching in his yoke, yet (I want to have time to study the design anyway, not to mention I've never done any acid etching and need to test it out a bit first).
And there will probably be other little details that don't happen just yet.

Right now, I'm focusing on getting everything dyed (nightmare of it's own), cut out and pinned together. Then I'll sew it all up on Friday and Saturday. Please everything else get here on time!!!

Oh dear! You need these costumes for Halloween right? Good luck. If it makes you feel better, mine isn't done yet either! I need it for Saturday, yipee loads of fun for Friday night.

Its very frustrating to try to schedule out your own stuff then have to do annoying things like make dinner, clean the house, laundry etc...It seems that the minute I sit down to work my hubby says "I'm hungry", which is my cue to make dinner.

yep, for Saturday night and yeah, I'm trying to take Friday off to work on them.

That sounds exactly like me! Get my head clear from coming home from work and start to pick up one of my projects and "will you make dinner?"
