I'm surprised . . .
Apr. 19th, 2005 04:55 pmI was able to go home yesterday after being at work and spend an hour or so in the garden. Might have been something to do with that Luna bar (mmm, chai tea flavored) and ginger ale I got at Garden Cove on my way home. Chris came downstairs and helped me out a bit too. I managed to uncover the same snake again in a different part of the garden (feel bad for continuously disturbing him). I know it's him because it has a little broken spot at the end of its tail. I'm going to see if I can manage to pull three days in a row (this time without the help of energy boosting snacks or a restful day where I sleep until noon). If I can't manage, I might just have to keep Luna bars and Red Rock and/or Natural Brew ginger ale on hand. :-] I really wouldn't mind.
Today, I managed to spend about 80% of my time in meetings. That hasn't happened in a long time. I hate when it does. I can't get anything done the rest of the day because I can't focus on anything but the meeting. We did make some major headway though. I just can't think of much else at the moment, which is a little frustrating.
On second thought, I might just go home and clean the kitchen and start cooking Indian food ('cause it's going to take a while, the cooking that is). This week,
Murgh Makhani (aka Butter Chicken), Cauliflower curry (I'm going to add carrots to this one), and Basmati rice, then
Gajar Ka Halva (aka Carrot Pudding) for dessert.
