Chai is comfort food
Apr. 20th, 2005 01:54 pmChris got a box at the grocery store last night.
I cooked for about three and a half hours last night. I enjoyed every minute of it. It helped to do all the prep work first, especially since there were a lot of common ingredients. I've found there's a core of common ingredients in almost any ethnic cooking and every recipe just uses a variation. Once you stock your pantry with that core of ingredients, you're set.
So, I'm a freak and I took pics of the food. It just looked so pretty (and because we ran across a community called food_porn).
( things I'd do differently next time. . . )
