not perfect, but in my price range and good enough for me!

I'm looking into making the belt. Though I'd like to get the Blades by Brown one, I don't need the extra stuff and it's all rather expensive. Matt on the LR_Cos group said he'd buy the other stuff from me, but I really don't know what a fair price would be (I couldn't imagine more than $50, and the remainder for the belt is still too much for me to spend on a belt). Yeah, making it is sounding better and better. I've been looking into epoxies or apoxies, how ever you want to market it. Seems like the best way to go. PMC is too weak for a belt buckle I'd think and I'm really not set up for casting metals (yet! *sheepish grin*). I know I can do the tooling on the leather.

We got Ron's Aragorn boots from Museum Replicas and they look great!

Those boots look great too. :)

really? I looked at those and they seemed like black patent leather instead of a sueded/worn brown leather. They also seemed really stiff and straight, rather than like slouch boots. I assumed they were intended to be his kingly boots, instead of his ranger boots. Is that what they seem like in real life too?

kingly outfit, yes, but he is wearing the strider boots with it, that's for sure, and at the time, he's not much into the kingly mindset yet, so I think I'm going to go with the slouch boots on this one.

I'll have to keep the others in mind for if/when I ever get around to playing with some funfoam armor for a King Elessar costume :] If for nothing else, I want to make that crown!
