I'm a sucker. I just ordered two more of those LOTR costume cards off ebay, Eowyn's coronation gown and her green gown as well. So now, I've got those two, Arwen's coronation gown and Elrond's Rivendel robe. I think I'm going to go ahead and sell the Elrond one. I'm not even sure why I bought it now. The rest, I'll wait until I'm done with the costumes (or at least the dyeing for them) before I sell them. Wishing I could afford one of the few Arwen requiem cloak ones that pop up every once in a while. *sigh* One day I'll have $200 bucks to temporarily splurge on it. But as soon as I match colors for it, I'm just going to sell it. The fabric swatches are too full of glue to use for much else than just color matching anyway (silk velvet feels like the scratchy side of velcro). I can't rationalize keeping them. I'm not much of a collector and these things are expensive for what they are (and ever climbing). Think I'll go ahead and list that Elrond card this weekend actually. Might help counteract some of what I just spent.

I have all of Eowyn's but the WW gown (still looking for that) and I have the Arwen coronation (which I totally overpaid for, at the time they were going high). I'd love the Chase gown or Requiem - but they are so expensive! They are definitely good for color matching!

I've seen the chase ones a few times too, and you're right, they're priced about like the requiem ones. I think there are only three that I'd still want and those would be the chase, requiem and Eowyn's victory gowns. I'll have to sell them all at once to get the Requiem one. Everything else is either white or I have no plans for the costume. I didn't pay too much for either Eowyn or Arwen coronation or the Elrond one for that matter, but the green gown one I feel like I did.
