You must be lost

And here I was thinking, "well, the book reads an awful lot like a screenplay, maybe they could make a decent movie out of it even if the book sucks." I didn't realize it was possible to make live actors seem more stiff and artificial than the characters in the books, but seriously, mission accomplished there. And poor Jasper looks like a blonde Edward Scissorhands! *shakes head*
