Happy Buddy the Elf day!

Today, you're supposed to answer the phone, "Buddy the Elf speaking, What's your favorite color?"

I actually have this marked on my calendar! :-))

I love Buddy the Elf!

You're the only reason I even know about it.

I do like that movie. My cousin's husband worked on it as a set production assistant (whatever that is).

BTW its Green

No kidding! That is cool. That would have been such a fun set to work on. I would love to be in a Christmas movie, since I have this thing for the North Pole and Christmas in general.

Last night kinda seemed like a Christmas movie at times. It was so beautiful last night with the lights , decorations and all the flowers. The mist outside added to the ambience as well. It wasn't snow, but it was kinda nice.

You all were very missed though. I kept thinking that Jonah is getting to the age where he would be more interested in the lights and stuff.

Mine is green as well. I answered the phone like that for my friend Steff a little bit ago. Hers is Blue. ;)

We certainly did miss you guys last night too, but we at least got to bake a bunch of cookies (which is partly why we weren't able to come).

I know Jonah would have loved it. Every time we go somewhere lately, he's all, "Santa, Ho Ho Ho!" and "Tritras Tree!" and "yights!" and "snowman" where the "sn" kind of sounds like he's blowing his nose. You should have seen us a little bit ago in Target picking out a new tree topper (ours no longer lights up) and some more LED lights for the other banister on the stairs and the palm trees. Every time he'd turn around, there was something else Christmasy for him to name and point out.

Now, to figure out how to keep him from unwrapping gifts prematurely (none are wrapped yet, but I'm about to start momentarily and having just finished a birthday, I think he's going to want to get into them).

lol there really are the strangest days: ninja day, talk like a pirate day, time travelor's day (or something like that)

how did this one come about?

[identity profile] mellymell.livejournal.com 2008-12-18 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really sure how this originated, I've only been able to find information on what and when it is, nothing further.
