Yeah, there are things I could be/should be doing. But I'm not. None of them are urgent, so I'm not terribly worried about it.

Talked with Steff at great length today. They're getting frustrated trying to discipline Lily (their almost 3 year old). Seems they can't get her to do anything without suffering through a tantrum. Frank spoils the hell out of her. She's to the point where when they come back from anywhere, her immediate question is, "whatdja get me?" She brought me the most lovely little Cala Lily. Think I'll pot it in the pot she made for me. She gave Chris 4 pint glasses with microbreweries on them. Similar to the 4 Jason got us for Christmas.

So, Donna the Buffalo, Sunday the 20th, NON-SMOKING SHOW AT CROSSROADS!! I'm so there. Non-smoking. Freakin' awesome!

In other music news, Smilefest has moved to not only a more pleasant time of year, but to a location about 2 hours closer for us to drive. The last weekend in May (Memorial Day weekend, 27th-29th), the fest will be held just south of Asheville, NC at Deerfields. Pics of the place look breathtaking! They describe it as:
Deerfields is located in Mills River, NC - 20 miles south of Asheville. The venue features 940 acres of mountain heaven with camping, hiking, orchards, mountain biking and two lakeside stages.

If we make it (and I do believe we will) we'll be 4 year veterans. [livejournal.com profile] litepack, you might want to check this one out instead if you're able at the time. Looks like it's going to be an even more incredible setting than Suwannee! $60 for the weekend if you get tix before the 21st. $75 from the 22nd through May 2nd. $90 after that and at the gate.
