evil corporations
Jan. 28th, 2005 01:23 pmSo we patronized the newest addition to the evil Wal-Mart empire last night.
Two days open and it already seems filthy.
At least the employees there aren't either toothless rednecks or ghetto dudes that could care less. Guess that's what you get in a yuppie Wal-Mart. Seems more like a Target honestly. Added bonus, they have self checkouts.
But I couldn't help but think as we pulled into the parking lot, "when our dogs ran away, this is where they got covered in mud before returning home. Over there is where the ducks used to play in the water that would collect into a little stream." I just kept repeating, "this used to be the field!"
Oh well. It is convenient.
