stupid fucking Murphy
Dec. 29th, 2004 10:46 amIt would happen that I'd get sick the day before we go to Atlanta wouldn't it? This head funk I've been taking sinus medication for seems to have started to seep into my throat and upper chest. I feel like someone has laid a heavy book on my chest and I'm trying to breathe. My head just aches cause it feel so full. My throat is sore and I'm coughing a lot. Sinus meds aren't really doing shit to me, except giving me that lightheaded medicine feel and making my nose cold. Early to bed tonight, maybe even with some Thera-flu or something. Hopefully I'll get the needed rest to keep up for the next two days in ATL.
So it's confirmed, Mogwai is just insane, nothing's really wrong with him (well, other than the fact that he's insane). They took a look at him while giving him shots and such but didn't see any evidence of fleas or mites or otherwise. They gave us some pills that are supposed to make him stop itching (I guess like benedryl for cats) but so far, he's still scratching.
The lady at the front said it's possible that just because he had fleas at one point, he might just still be itching, like a nervous twitch. Seems our cat is neurotic as we suspected. Maybe between the anti-itch stuff, the hordes of mice to keep him occupied and having his nuts cut off, he might settle down and let his hair grow back. He's too snuggly of a kitty to be all scabby and losing hair (though it already looks to be growing back).
