Wish you were here. . .

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] branflake!!

Holly sends her love. We got into Alamogordo late tonight and I only got to hang with her for a few minutes, but we'll spend tomorrow with her and head home Thursday.

So much else has gone on since leaving Denver that I'm just not going to even try to cover it right now.

Night everyone, see you in a few days.

heh there's like a total of 1500 pictures. I've been trying to upload them all day but the stupid hotel internet keeps disconnecting.

There are some really cool pics of a double rainbow in the 'isle in the sky' section.

yeah, i saw that. the storm before it looked pretty neat, too.

grand view point in Canyonlands ROCKS! we watched a storm roll in, pass over, the rainbows form, and right after, the sunset/moonrise started. 360 degree view, and no one else walks the mile from the overlook or if they do, they don't climb to the actual point (think there were some people below us for some of it).

the following night, we watched the sunset from the other side in Canyon Rims Recreation Area, overlooking where we had watched it the night before, pretty neat.
