I think a lingerie hem is a rolled hem.

The sign for the Requiem gown said silk satin - I think the undergown is silk satin dyed to match the chiffon overlay of the upper sleeves. There is a slight color difference and the undergown is slightly shinier. I think I have that in my notes on my site.

The coronation overgown is tacked to the undergown, so it would make sense if they did that with the Requiem too:

I think the Gladdy gown does have a waist seam, just like the mourning gown does:

For Gladdy, I wrote: "I sketched one of the beaded leaf/branch things, but they weren't all the same - they varied. They looked to be done with chain stitch, and the beads were rocaille (short bugle)."
