Yeah, funny how that worked. He's been interviewing at places for over a year now, even turned down two or three offers before. This place he first interviewed at in July or August (long process is long!). But I didn't want to mention any of it until we knew what was going on with it. Then, when he got an offer he decided to accept, well, I was AWOL and never mentioned it.
So there you go, you get a little afterthought in a huge post about a million things, even though it's probably the biggest single thing that's happened recently.
