wow, dude. I know that you sent this to me a long time ago, but it got buried in the junk mail in my inbox and I didn't find it until just now because I was bored and emptying out the 'ol inbox. Whew! I guess I should finally answer your questions, eh?
Okay... 1. No, I actually stopped doing the santa thing with Audi last year. She already knew that Santa wasn't really real, but I suppose if I want to be really honest with myself, the real reason was much more selfish. I am a single mom and get no support from Autumn's dad what-so-ever. I work really hard cleaning and cooking and working multiple jobs to support Autumn and I. So, last year, I got her some really cool presents and I really wanted recognition for it. I didn't want to give the credit for these presents to some guy that doesn't even exist. So, I told her that they were from me rather than that they were from "Santa". Plus, I have never been a fan of Christmas. I think that it is a stupid commercial holiday and the concept of Santa is really stupid to me. PLUS- yes, there is more- I have always felt guilty about lying to Autumn about something as stupid as Santa Claus. I have always felt like I was doing something very wrong. So, I have never really talked about Santa one way or the other.
2.I don't know if I really have a favorite holiday. I don't really get into holidays that much at all. I do like Halloween and New Year's Eve just because they are usually really fun, but I have been known to boycott holidays altogether.
3.There are so many good things about dancing. I love the way that I am expressing myself- making art if you will- by moving my body. But it is so much more than that. When I dance it feels like I am offering up myself- my pure essence to God to use. I feel like when I dance I honor God as well as myself and there is nothing in the world that produces such a feeling of pure joy. When I dance I feel so free; like I am flying.
4. I can't think of just one memory that I would choose as my favorite. I have many memories that I am fond of. I have been very lucky to have many good times.
5. Tom Robbins. Or Alice Hoffman. Alice Hoffman wrote many many books one of which was, "Practical Magic" which was made into a really awesome movie.
