Hmm.

LoudTwitter's not shipping my tweets again.

Well, one reason might have something to do with the fact that I can't get to their site right now. Hmmm.

And of course, one of the really helpful, newish features of Twitter: Search!

LoudTwitter is dead!

(Posting here since I have a lot of friends who use LoudTwitter)

A quick scan of everyone freaking out about this loss shows that Twittinesis is about the only real alternative to LoudTwitter, but apparently isn't as good and people aren't as happy with it. Lots of begging for someone to write a new one.

If LoudTwitter doesn't get fixed, I'm not going to bother finding an alternative. I can just keep up with my friends on twitter. Screw the rest ;)

I find it helpful because there are times when I'm a lot more active on Twitter than here and there are people who aren't there that keep up with me here and on Facebook. So, I ship tweets to both (Facebook, via status updates). I'm going to give Twittinesis a try, but if it sucks, well, I'll probably give up until I hear about something else. Not going to lose sleep over it or put too much effort into it or anything.

I understand. It is helpful for those that aren't on Twitter to keep up with you. I also use Twitter more than LJ a lot.

Let me know how Twittinesis goes. If it's not too bad, I'll try it out. But right now, I'm just hoping LoudTwitter is resurrected.

That's why my friends page didn't look like shit today.

Let's hope it says broken for years to come . . .
