So, another week ends
Mar. 11th, 2005 01:52 pmThey're flying by so fast. I thought yesterday was last Friday. Oh well. The older you get, yada, yada yada. . .
So, what have I done this week? Hmm, not much. Started working on the website. Got sick again. Worked some more on the website. Wrote a really long, still in progress reflection on death. Not sure I got anywhere with it, but I made a lot of statements and dug up a lot of stuff that's been settled for some time now.
Other than that, breathing in, breathing out, waking up in the morning, going to bed at night. . . same old mundane stuff.
Chris' mom said she'd pay for the entire lodge for us, all we have to do it book it. How nice of her to do on her birthday. Now all I have to do is call again. Speaking of, I need to call them.
edit: Called, they're tentatively holding May 13th, 2006 for us. We'll go take a look at it and ask our (err, my) questions on Tuesday before work. Then, if all goes well, I'll be calling Chris' mom to go ahead and put the deposit down to seal the date. They had 4 Saturdays in May and June left. The first two of May (6th and 13th) and the second and fourth of June (10th and 24th). I kind of thought early May might be a little more pleasant on the weather.
Homebrew is fine. So are the bottles I have planned (serving is fine, they just don't want folks wandering around with beer bottles getting sloshed and dropping them, liability and all).
Tried something new at Surin today. Oh my god was it yummy! Chicken panang. Next time I think I'll try the veggie/tofu version.
